Nvidia's latest driver version is mainly focused on introducing technologies such as ray tracing and DLSS support for more games (including Doom Eternal, Rust, LEGO Builder's Journey and Escape From Tarkov) , but also adds some other features. The WHQL-certified 471.11 Game Ready driver also supports the Windows May 10, 2021 update. It is recommended to anyone who purchases EA's upcoming racer F1 2021.
Nvidia 471.11 WHQL Driver Supports
The Doomsday Eternal Update carries the ray tracing function, and the next Nvidia DLSS to increase performance will be available on June 29. At the same time, Escape from Tarkov will meet with Nvidia. Reflex is about to be implemented to reduce system delays. LEGO Builder's Journey launched ray tracing effects and DLSS on Steam later today .
Rust has received Reflex support in the previous update, and on July 1, DLSS will be the latest Nvidia to enable technology to reach it. Games running the Vulkan API on Linux via Proton also support DLSS, and DirectX support is planned to be launched this fall.
The application of this experience has undergone some maintenance, and according to the company, the "FPS counter, one-click automatic GPU adjustment, free-style filter and HDR screenshot capture function have been improved." Finally, the list of G-Sync compatible monitors has been added through the driver. Four monitors, supporting AOC AG274US4R6B and AG254FWG8R4, ASUS VG28UQL1A and LG 32GN650/32GN63T.
Following are the bug fixes included in this release, VR fans should be happy to see that the long-standing stuttering problem seems to have finally been found:
- [World of Warcraft: Kingdom of Shadows]: Random flickers may appear in certain locations in the game[3206341]
- [SLI][GeForce GTX 980M]: The system locks to a black screen when booting to Windows. 457.51 did not reproduce. [3266090]
- [Surround][GeForce RTX 3090]: After enabling Surround, setting Bezel Correction will disable Surround. [3286449]
- [Crossfire][GeForce Experience][FreeStyle]: After the game is updated, Freestyle may not run on Crossfire. [200736765]
- [HDR]: Certain HDMI displays may show some flickering in HDR mode. [200729987]
- [Steam VR game]: When the GPU hardware monitoring tool is running in the background, the game freezes and freezes when starting the game. [3152190]
- [NVIDIA Ampere GPU]: If you use the Sharpen Freestyle filter with HDR enabled, the colors in the game may be wrong. [200658208]

Please remember that in October of this year, Nvidia will stop supporting Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1, as well as its classic Kepler architecture products-GTX 600 and 700 series.
