At this year's Game Developers Conference, Google introduced a series of game features for Android, including game dashboards. At the time, Google stated that the game dashboard will be available on some devices running Android 12. As of now, the game dashboard is only available on Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. Game developers can take advantage of the dashboard and its various optimizations by implementing the game mode API. In order to encourage more developers to adopt the API, Google Play has begun to highlight "optimized for Pixel 6" games.
Many Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro users are seeing (via 9to5Google) a new "Optimized for Pixel 6" carousel in the Google Play store. This part provides games that support the game mode API, so it can be optimized using the game dashboard.
